What this site is
Nuqta FX is an independent forex guide. There are no user accounts, comment boxes or newsletter sign-ups, and you can read every page and use every tool without giving us your name or email.
What is collected when you visit
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used to run and secure the site.
- Our own visit statistics, without cookies. We count visits with our own tool, which runs on our server. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. For each page view it records the page, the site you came from (and campaign tags such as utm_source, if the link had them), the site language, your device’s time zone (to estimate the country), your device and browser type, how long the page was in view and how far you scrolled. It also records a few actions: clicks on Exness buttons and where the button was, use of a calculator or the currency converter (the calculator type or currency pair only, never the amounts you type), sending the contact form, and switching language.
- How we tell visits apart. Our server works out an anonymous code from your IP address, your browser and a random value that is replaced every day. The IP address itself is not stored, and because the random value changes daily, your visits on different days can’t be linked. These statistics are deleted after 400 days.
We don’t use Google Analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If that changes, we’ll update this page first.
Live charts and prices
- Charts, gauges and the economic calendar are TradingView widgets. Your browser loads them from TradingView’s servers, which see your IP address and may set their own cookies under TradingView’s privacy policy.
- The live gold price comes from gold-api.com and exchange rates from open.er-api.com. Your browser fetches them directly and keeps the exchange rates in its storage for up to 6 hours, so the page doesn’t fetch them on every visit.
Calculators
Our calculators work in your browser. The numbers you type aren’t sent to us or to anyone else.
Exness links and the partner code
Exness is the broker we recommend and our partner. Exness buttons go first to a short redirect on our site (/go/exness/) and then to Exness. Once you’re on Exness’s website, Exness’s own privacy policy applies. Exness records that you came from us, so that the referral is linked to our partner account.
If you open an account through our link or code, Exness’s partner reports may show us limited information about the referred account, such as an account identifier and the activity used to calculate our commission. We use it only to manage the partnership. We never see your documents or your login details.
Links to other brokers’ or regulators’ websites are ordinary links. We have no partnership with other brokers and receive no information from them.
The partner-code copy button writes the code to your device’s clipboard. Nothing is sent to us.
Contact form and email
The contact form opens your own email app with your message ready to send; nothing reaches us until you send that email. When you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply and follow up. We don’t add you to a mailing list.
Cookies
Nuqta FX sets no cookies for readers. TradingView may set its own cookies through its embedded charts, and Exness and other websites we link to set their own cookies on their own sites.
Sharing
We don’t sell personal data. Information reaches only the services described above, which handle it to provide their service.
Your choices
You can block third-party cookies in your browser or use an extension that blocks embedded widgets. Because our visit statistics store no IP address and no lasting identifier, we can’t find your visits in them. You can email us to ask what we hold about you, such as your emails, and to have it deleted.
Changes
We update this page and its date when what we collect changes.
